Qlik Sense – November 2025
Version Updates
1. Visualizations & Dashboard Improvements
- Upcoming removed charts
The following charts will get removed with the May 2027 update:
– Bar & Area Chart
– Bullet Chart (Old)
– Heatmap Chart
– Navigation Button
– Share Button
– Show/Hide Container
– Container (Old)
- (New) Straight Table upgraded
The new Straight Table has been upgraded from the Visualization Bundle to the default visuals. The old table will still exist from now but will eventually be removed.
- Org Chart Styling
The Org Chart which is part of the bundle gets new styling options. You can add an URL for the card image, have auto-fit, display as a round/rectangular shape and decide font stylings like font family, size and color.
- Sheet editing enhancements
While in edit mode the Data Filters and Data Table have been merged. While in Edit Mode you’re able to 1. filter your data and 2. see content of any loaded table. These Data Filters can be used to filter any graph without the use of Set Analysis.
- Pivot Table Indicators
Indicators have now also been added to the new Pivot Table. Similar to what existed for the old tables.
- Indent rows for New Pivot Table
A new presentation mode has been added to the New Pivot Table. This mode will indent row dimensions, providing a more compact view. This indentation is based on text. Images and URL are not supported for this new mode.
- Currently selected column is highlighted in the straight table
- Shapes in Bar/Combo/Scatter Chart
You can add shapes into the 3 mentioned charts. These shapes can be changed based on type (Circle, Cross,…), Symbol color, Symbol Size, Label Text, Background Color and position in the chart.

- Custom CSS styling for sheets
To ease the transition from the deprecated Multi KPI Chart (which was used to inject CSS code for your Qlik Sense sheets), a new option has been added for sheets to add inject CSS code.
- Show All for Sheets and Bookmark Overview
The Overview for sheets and book marks has been reorganized. You will first see All (Public, Community, Private) before the other groups.
- Enhanced performance for Map Visuals
Map visuals will now use a local web map instead of the one from Qlik Servers for better performance.
2. Data & Platform changes
- Redesigned App Settings
- Content Monitor App
A new Content Monitor App will be included with Qlik Sense – Client Managed. This app will:
-
- Track apps and tasks
- Monitor Sessions, Apps and Users
- Inventory of files
- …
