With offices in Lummen, Turnhout, Kontich and Gent, we are an AI and data consulting group with four specialized daughter companies, collaborating with clients across industries to design, build, and scale AI and data solutions that drive significant business outcomes. As we continue to grow across Flanders and Brussels, we are looking for a senior Business Development Manager to hunt, win, and onboard new clients — and help us bring the full breadth of the Algorhythm Group offering to market.

 

About the role

 

You are a natural hunter. You thrive on opening doors, building relationships from scratch, and closing deals. You do not wait for leads to come to you — you go and find them.

Our sweet spot is the mid-size company market in Flanders and Brussels. You know this world well — you have built your network there over the years and you understand how these organizations think, buy, and make decisions. You know who to call, and they know you.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and winning new clients across this segment. Once a client is on board, you hand them over to our Account Manager, who takes care of the ongoing relationship. The two of you will work closely together to ensure seamless client experience and spot cross-sell opportunities across the group.

Beyond that, you will function as a commercial bridge across Algorhythm Group’s four daughter companies, collaborating closely with their Managing Partners to coordinate the right expertise for each opportunity and bring the full power of the group to clients.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Proactively hunt and develop new business opportunities within the mid-size company segment across Flanders and Brussels
  • Own the full new business cycle — from prospecting and first contact to proposal, negotiation, and contract signature. You will be supported by our experienced pre-sales experts
  • Sell the integrated Algorhythm Group offering, spanning data strategy, analytics, data engineering, data governance, AI-driven solutions and GIS.
  • Work closely with the Managing Partners of our four daughter companies to align propositions, capacity, and client fit
  • Collaborate tightly with the Account Manager to ensure smooth client onboarding and handover, and to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts
  • Translate complex AI and data concepts into clear, compelling value propositions for a wide range of client profiles
  • Represent Algorhythm Group at industry events and within the Belgian AI and data ecosystem

 

What you bring

 

  • 6+ years of experience in business development or sales in a data, analytics, or technology consulting environment
  • A demonstrable hunter mentality — you have a track record of opening new accounts and closing deals, not just managing existing ones
  • An established, active network within mid-size companies in Flanders and Brussels — this is a firm requirement. You know the key decision-makers in this segment and have the credibility to open doors from day one
  • Proven ability to hit or exceed new business revenue targets in a B2B context
  • Strong conceptual knowledge of AI and data — including machine learning, generative AI, data architecture, BI & analytics, data governance, and cloud data platforms; you do not need to be an engineer, but you need to speak the language convincingly. A grasp of GIS concepts is a plus.
  • The ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating AI and data capabilities into tangible client outcomes
  • A collaborative mindset — you know that winning together with colleagues and partners is better than winning alone
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is required — these are your primary working languages
  • French is a meaningful asset, given our presence in Brussels
  • Experience engaging C-level and senior stakeholders with a consultative approach
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a hybrid setup while staying closely connected to the team across our four offices
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and structured pipeline management

Nice to have

 

  • Affinity with GIS and geodata — a growing area within our group’s offering
  • Hands-on familiarity with data and AI platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, dbt, or Azure OpenAI
  • Background in a boutique or scale-up consulting firm
